Updating route firmware

To check to see if your IX NAS device is running the latest firmware version you have a couple of options.

I was experiencing some issues with one of my Dell R610 servers.

(Fans never spin down.) After doing some research I noticed people suggested it was due to bad firmware of i DRAC Express.

After clicking on the ‘Update’ icon you’ll be presented with a screen that shows the current firmware revision and a link to the ‘Iomega Software Update Web Site’.

By clicking this link you’ll be taken through to the Iomega site where you can then navigate to the ‘Support’ section and download any required firmware revision.

In fact, you can't use their older MCUpdate software with the Star Sense HC. But on some of the newer mounts where the motors can be updated via CFM (e.g.

like the Evolution or AVX mount); that also requires use of the Nex Star HC.

Added ability to set a via point while navigating a calculated route. Fixed issue resulting in bad point information on the map.

Added ability to remove the red pin while panning the map. Fixed inability to select turn/guidance information on map while in nuvi mode and navigating.

So you might need to update via those mounts twice using BOTH Nex Star and Star Sense HC’s for a complete solution (n.b.

the repeat is required to update the Star Sense HC).

), but I think I can now post a definitive article regarding how to use Celestron Firmware Manager (CFM) to update the firmware for; i) Nex Star hand controllers via Windows 10.
